Jeremy Cowart’s career has often been called a Forrest Gump art career. He just chases ideas in whichever direction they lead him, finding himself in the most random of new situations, moments of success and failures, all while dealing with his own life’s hardships (raising 4 kids - one with special needs - and managing his own neurological disease).

From being named the internet’s most influential photographer at one point to speaking in stadiums to kickstarting a hotel chain to launching a worldwide give-back initiative to being featured at an art auction alongside the greatest artists that have ever lived… it’s always something wildly surprising, even for Cowart himself.

“I don’t set goals or plan ahead and money never motivates me. It’s always about the idea, always has been and always will be. Some of the ideas fail miserably but the lessons learned are invaluable so I immediately go chase the next one. I’ve done it for 20 years and I’ll do it for the rest of my life. My hope is that the public sees my love for art and love for people throughout all of it.”

My name is Jon Taylor Sweet and I am a wedding, commercial, and lifestyle photographer here in the greater Seattle area! The 253 is my home! It has been a continual honor to document special moments and celebrate others with my camera!

I started taking photos on my iPhone in 2013 using Instagram as the vessel to share my work. Instagram introduced me to people all over the world who also have a passion for people, creating, and beautiful photos. I began to realize how great and wide the photo community is and I love being apart of it! During that time, a friend gifted me a camera and it catapulted me into my career. Doors kept opening, and I knew I had to keep saying yes. I have been beyond blessed to have people in my life that believe in me and encourage me.

Over the last decade I have been fortunate to capture couples’ proposals, weddings, and engagements. I have also been able to jump into the music industry in several ways including album covers, tour documentation, and other creative projects. I have had the chance to shoot for massive marketing campaigns for companies including American Express, Jameson, Alaska Airlines, Kia, Blundstone and more. I also find a lot of inspiration capturing lifestyle content and creating with other creatives. Any chance to tell a story is where my heart and my creativity meet. It’s been a great honor to use the wisdom, experience, and knowledge I’ve gained and share it with others so they can pursue their passions and make the photography industry grow.

Capturing important moments is something that I don’t take lightly and am so thankful for every opportunity! When I’m not working you can find me spending time with my wife and kiddos, drinking coffee, playing basketball, golfing, and always finding a way to hang out with my friends!

To end a short story on myself I am always led to believe that God has given me this beautiful gift of being a photographer. It’s my hope that all I’ve done and all I will do will always glorify HIM! I’m pumped to meet everyone, let’s party
